Review the solutions to the 2022 Math of Machine Learning Olympiad here.
Skoltech and HSE invite students in their last year of math- and IT-related bachelor's studies to compete in solving advanced challenges in machine learning as part of the Math of Machine Learning Olympiad 2024.
Applications are accepted by the end of the day on May 5, 2024.
Winners of the Olympiad will get a huge round of applause, prizes from the organizers andautomatic enrollment into the joint Master's program of HSE and Skoltech "Math of Machine Learning". Winning the Olympiad is equivalent to passing the program's selection for admission.
This olympiad was formerly known as "Statistical Learning Theory", but in 2021 Skoltech and HSE decided to rename both the competition and the master's program. Now you will find it under "Math of Machine Learning".
Deadline: May 5, 2024
Finalists announcement: May 13, 2024

Format and location: Skoltech 30с1 Bolshoi boulevard, Moscow, 121205, Russian Federation
The main goal of the participation in the Olympiad is admission to the Joint Master's Program in Mathematics of Machine Learning offered by HSE and Skoltech. This program prepares specialists and researchers in the key theoretical unit of ML, one of the fastest-growing fields of information technology.
This year at the Data Fusion conference, the joint Skoltech-HSE University Master's Program Math of Machine Learning was selected as the Best Education Initiative of the Year.
This program knows no equals at the current Russian universities. It lies at the confluence of statistics, optimization, and machine learning. It unites science and the most advanced technologies in the field of information technology. We offer our graduates great opportunities in the academic domain as well as in business and innovation.
